Hi, I’m Laura. I live on the South Coast with my husband and our two dogs Dottie & Diesel!

I’m the founder of The Collaborative VA, Collaborative Mindful Networking, and The Collaborative VA Team –  I’m a Virtual Assistant, Events Manager, and Connector.

Following redundancy in August 2020, I decided to change my career path by becoming a Virtual Assistant.  In the March of 2021, I was placed as a Runner-up at the virtual VA Awards for the category of ‘UK Best Newcomer VA 2021’.

I help extremely busy entrepreneurs and business owners like you to organise and run highly successful events that inspire and motivate team members and clients. Alongside this, I provide bespoke administrative support to your business as you build and grow.

Our ethos is ‘collaboration, not competition’ and that aligns with everything we do.

After an initial discovery session with me, I will then match you with a team member or members who can fully support you, depending on your requirements and their availability.

Hi, I am Sophie. I live in Bristol with my husband, 6yr old daughter Olive and not forgetting our 3yr old Cockapoo, Audrey!

Following redundancy in September 2020, I decided I wanted a job with flexibility around my family and something I could be really proud of! So, on the 7th of April 2021, I set up as a Virtual Assistant and I haven’t looked back!

Hi – I’m Sam and I live in Tonbridge, Kent with my husband Ben and our 2 moggies, Leela and Fry.

After 20 years as an EA in London, I embarked on a new adventure as a VA in 2019. As my business grew, so did my love of writing! My business evolved and I became a copywriter and researcher.

I help business owners straighten out ideas that are a higglety pigglety mess in their head by writing compelling persuasive copy that tells the story of them and their brand – and copy that resonates with their ideal client. I write what you want to say in the form of website copy, blogs, case studies, articles, newsletters, and more.

Hi, I am Kathy. I live in London with my gorgeous fluffball Cupcake!

I’ve worked in the admin and PA field for over 24 years, and in addition to that have also worked for 7 years in the IT Software Support world.

In 2021 I set up as VA, after losing my job at the beginning of Covid. I wanted to keep busy and my mind active (especially as there were no jobs), so I signed up for the VACT VA Mastery course and never looked back!

I support small business owners and entrepreneurs with PA Services and Customer support. Giving them the time and headspace to concentrate on their business, their clients, and on making their sales.

I have a corporate IT background working predominantly as an IT Business Analyst and love working with people and systems.

I also run my own cleaning business alongside so can appreciate the day-to-day detail of running a business including the ever evolving landscape around us all.


Hi, I am Siân and I live in London. I have 14 years of experience which includes administrative, customer support and training roles to name a few.

I began my VA journey in June 2023. I wanted a job that would fit around my studies, give me a life of freedom and flexibility as I also became unhappy and unfulfilled from my employed roles.

I help fed-up business owners do more of what they love and get paid to do and give them more time to pursue their hobbies.

Having spent 14 years being a Headteacher, I developed many skills to be able to keep all my plates spinning such as: time and inbox management; problem-solving; copywriting;

people management and efficient use of IT but most importantly I learned how to stay organised to get things done.

Although I’m not a massive hat wearer in the fashion world, I’ve had the pleasure of wearing numerous hats in my work life!  From Conveyancing Assistant, Software Programmer, Recruiter, HR Assistant, Team Leader, Sales Manager, Lettings Assistant and Makeup Artist!

I’m proud to say that I now run my own Wedding and Event Hair and Makeup Business, Barnet and Boatrace so have found the perfect role where I’m able to utilise all of my skills in the one.

As an established business and with most of our clients getting married in the Summer I have availability to assist other businesses with their administration during the Winter months.

After redundancy in October 2023, I decided to take some time out to re-evaluate my work/home life… I wanted flexibility around my family and to find something that ticked all the boxes! I decided to offer Marketing and Design services using my 25 years’ experience, to help others.
